It’s a fact that Montana sells more than 250,000 hunting licenses each year. And that number is growing annually! Public lands and Block Management handles the bulk of the private land overflow but, as you probably know, Block Management land is usually overhunted within the first week of the season opener. Our public hunting areas are grossly overused as well and each year these lands see more hunting pressure than the year before. The result is that more and more people are giving up the sport of hunting because they simply can’t or don’t want to spend the time necessary to find a place to hunt.
We have responded to the growing demand for quality hunting by negotiating access agreements with owners of high quality upland bird, waterfowl, turkey and big game habitat and providing that access to our membership through a reservation system.
We manage tens of thousands of acres of prime wildlife habitat for our members to enjoy exclusively. As a member, you won’t have to worry about having a quality hunting spot ever again!

If you like to hunt but don’t like to spend a lot of time searching for a place to hunt, HuntMontana may be just what you’ve been looking for! We handle the details, you relax and go hunting. Whether you are interested in hunting big whitetails on overgrown farmsteads, miles of CRP full of pheasants and huns, sharptails on native prairie or fields full of ducks and geese, HuntMontana will provide it for you! As a dues paying member, you will have full access to all of our lands that we currently control and to those that we acquire in the future. We are aggressively seeking new properties and plan to add tens of thousands of new acres each year. REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIPBecoming a member of HuntMontana is easy but we do have some rigid requirements that must be met. Some of the requirements are mandated by our insurance company and some are set by the club. Basic requirements are: - Ethical conduct at all times - No criminal history - No wildlife violation history - Walk-in only access - Payment of fees when due - Adhere strictly to club rules We encourage physically challenged members to join HuntMontana and will make whatever provisions are necessary to permit assisted access to our properties. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, disability, age or sex. HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER: All you need do is to mail, fax or deliver your signed application along with your check or money order. You will receive a letter notifying you of acceptance, turn down (in which case your check will be returned) or a conditional acceptance subject to explaining certain information on the application, or clarifying missing, or incomplete information.
